He is the sacrifice

The Lamb is the sacrifice.

He takes my sins for me.

He approaches

what I never could.

He bridges the gap.

He brings me to Eden.

He reopens the door.

He keeps the door open when I

in my arrogance try to close it try to walk away.

He lets me walk away.

He does not want to restrain me.

He only wants those who want to be there.

He wants to be chosen.

Which means we must make a choice, which means

there must be

Options

Real opportunities to choose

something else.

I choose the Lamb.

Alone in a shack,

with no one else and nothing else in the world,

I will still choose the lamb.

In celebration with friends in a mansion,

With all the jewels and money and family and influence in the world,

I will still choose the lamb.

Help me to keep making that choice.

I want to want You just as

You want to be wanted,

and I want to be wanted.

Chosen

He wants to be

chosen.

He wants to be

seen.

He wants to be

picked.

He wants to be our

First priority.

We want to be our partner’s

First priority.

I respect the one who doesn’t

choose me. I

let them go their own way.

Why would God want anything different?

If He knows a different way will lead

to death,

Why would He not warn us?

I scream!

But He did. He gave us that warning

and we are judged by what we know;

by what we have heard We are judged

and what we have written on our hearts, we are judged.

We know.

But we choose not to listen.

I want to be chosen

I want to be chosen says the Lord,

to be picked and

chosen and

loved

with the intensity I give,

to receive it in turn,

in whatever capacity can be given.

I want to be chosen.

I don’t want to

compete.

I don’t want to

compete for your love. I don’t want

to compete for your affection.

I will

provide all you need.

I am

all you could ever want.

I want to be chosen, says the Lord.

As I have chosen

you, I also want to be

chosen in return.

It is vulnerable, and it

can be painful

but I can bear it, as I bear

you, and more.

I want to be chosen by

you My love:

My love of choice, My agape.

Chosen

He wants to be chosen. He wants to be seen, He wants to be picked.

He wants to be our first priority.

We want to be our partner’s First priority.

And we respect the one who doesn’t choose us. We let them go their own way.

Why would God want anything different?

If He knows a different way will lead to death, Why

would He not warn us?

But he did.

He gave us that warning.

and we are judged by what we know,

by what we have heard,

We are judged

and what we have written on our hearts, we are judged.

we know,

but we choose not to listen

Choice

There are things I could give that He does not care for,

That He does not want,

There are things I could give that He would actively discard.

Things I give not because I want to,

but because I’m supposed to.

He wants a choice.

He wants to be chosen.

So he gives us options.

What do we choose?

Do we listen to Him?

Do we obey or do we choose something else?
